Harvest of Blessings

Sister Mary Christopher Moore, provincial minister of the Felician Sisters of North America, joins St. Anne Home president/CEO, Jeffrey Long, and chairman of the board, John Kline, at the 15th annual Harvest of Blessings event.

November 12th marked the 15th annual “Harvest of Blessings” Dinner and Auction, which was held at the Stratigos Banquet Centre.  Funds raised during this event benefit St. Anne Home in its skilled and intermediate nursing, personal care, and a variety of on campus activities.  With one of the largest crowds in 15 years, approximately 200 people attended the event and participated in the St. Anne Auction, Silent Auction, Live Auction, Champagne Raffle and Purse Extravaganza.

Musical entertainment for the evening was provided graciously by Grammy Nominated Accordionist, Kevin Solecki.

The live auction filled the ballroom with six fabulous items: a Steelers jersey signed by Ben Roethlisberger, Yorkshire Pig butchered to the recipient’s liking, personally prepared gourmet dinner for six, tour of the U.S. Capital by Congressman Murphy, a “Quilt of Valor” and a piggy bank stuffed with money!  Special thanks to Mark Ferry of Ferry Auctioneers for being our guest Auctioneer for the evening.
