Contributing to St. Anne Home
St. Anne Home is a non-profit organization dedicated
to providing the highest level of care and support
for those who need our services. With an ever-changing
health care environment, we are challenged daily
to maintain this superior level of service. Your
tax-deductible contribution to St. Anne Home can
help us continue our ministry for older adults. For

can make a charitable contribution to St. Anne Home,

Current Fundraisers
Special Ways to Make a Gift
Memorial Gifts - Make a gift in loving memory of
a family member or friend to continue the healing
mission of St. Anne Home. Memorial envelopes are
available at St. Anne Home or you can mail your contribution
to the Development Office. Your gift will allow St.
Anne Home to expand its services and insure quality
care.
Memorial & Tribute Courtyard - We are inviting
you to help build the Memorial & Tribute Courtyard
by purchasing a brick or bricks to honor your family
member or friend. The bricks will be engraved and
placed in the courtyard walkway and on the patio.
In addition to honoring your loved one, each brick
will contribute to the beauty and serenity of our
courtyard and patio and help St. Anne Home continue
our mission.
Your message, which can be a memorial or a tribute,
will be engraved on a 4" x 8" brick and
be placed in your choice of the circular walk in
the courtyard or in the patio. We request a $100
donation for bricks placed in the walk, and a $125
donation for the limited edition bricks placed in
the patio.
Planned Giving – St. Anne Home has instituted
a Planned Giving program to give supporters sound
personal, financial and estate planning concepts
so that the individual can plan for a lifetime testamentary
giving. To learn more about how you can contribute
through a planned gift, please contact the Development Office.
General Donations - Contributions of any denomination
are continually accepted. These unrestricted gifts
are used to purchase items and equipment needed daily
by our residents.
Lottery Calendar - For the past 14 years, St. Anne
Home has sponsored a lottery calendar, the proceeds
of which have funded new mattresses, low beds, a
benevolent care fund, and many other programs. The
2008 St. Anne Home Lottery Calendar will also provide
funding for many programs to enhance the lives of
residents in both our nursing center and assisted
living community.
Calendars go on sale annually the first weekend
in August for a $25 donation.
Special Events - St. Anne Home hosts two major fundraising
events annually that help support the mission. If
you are interested in attending or volunteering for
one or both of our events, please contact the Development
Office.
The Progressive Dinner is held in the Spring (usually
late April/early May) and includes a four-course
meal, which is served in the homes of friends and
family members of St. Anne Home from around the local
communities. All proceeds from this event benefit
the residents of Villa Angela at St. Anne Home and
the St. Felix Benevolent Care Fund. The Committee
is continually seeking individuals and couples who
would be interested in serving as a host for the
event. Invitations are sent out approx. 6 weeks before
the event however anyone who is interested my attend.
The second event of the year is the "Harvest
of Blessings" Auction and Social. This event
is usually held the first weekend in November. In
order to raise the funds needed for the residents
of St. Anne Home, Chinese, Silent and Live Auctions
are held throughout the night in addition to several
raffles and other games of chance. Corporate Sponsors
are solicited for the event as well as local businesses
and retailers for donations of prizes and monetary
gifts. Invitations are sent out approx. 6 weeks before
the event however anyone who is interested my attend.
This year's event will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2008 at the Greensburg Country Club.
Art Gallery – Local artists are invited to
display their work in the St. Anne Home Art Gallery.
20% of the sales go directly to St. Anne Home.
Currently artwork done by Stanley Beloncis from Irwin is on display. His works include dogs, sports figures, landscapes, animals, historical sites, etc. Stanley is also available to take special requests to fit your needs.
"A Harvest of Blessings" Cookbook - With
over 350 delectable recipes from local celebrities
and restaurants, friends and family members, this
book is sure to be a hit with any chef. The cookbooks
can be purchased at the Front Desk for a $20 donation.
Easter Candy Sale - Annually St. Anne Home hosts
a Easter Candy Sale. We sell Sarris Candies and this
fundraiser starts approx. two months before Easter.

Special Raffles – Held throughout the year
at the front desk
Annual Appeal - St. Anne Home asks all it's friends
and family members to make an annual gift that will
help to fund wheelchairs, furniture, slings, mechanical
lifts, music therapy, CD's, videos, and many other
much needed equipment and recreational items. Letters
requesting a pledge or gift are sent in July however
gifts are continually accepted throughout the year.
St. Felix Benevolent
Care Fund - Currently there
are no federal or state funding mechanisms to help
older citizens meet the cost of assisted living.
St. Anne Home realizes that some residents who live
at Villa Angela may eventually deplete their resources
therefore; St. Anne Home has established the St.
Felix Benevolent Care Fund to help residents of Villa
Angela maintain their apartments and services. The
Purpose of the St. Felix Benevolent Care Fund is
to assist the residents with the greatest need who
do not have other options for help available to them.
Donations are continually accepted to help maintain
this fund.
Printer Cartridge Recycling - If you use an inkjet
printer at home or at work, please place your empty
inkjet cartridge from your printer in a zip lock
bag and turn it into the Development Office. With
your help we can generate money that is very much
needed. St. Anne Home will receive approximately
$2 for each cartridge that is returned. Please encourage
family, friends and neighbors to participate in our
recycling program.
Matching Gifts - If you or your spouse work for
a company that makes matching gifts to health care
facilities or nursing homes, you can double your
donation to St. Anne Home. Just ask your employer
for a matching gift form and mail it with your donation
to St. Anne Home.
United Way - St. Anne Home is a part of the United Way Contributor’s Choice program and is set up to receive donations given through the United Way. Designate St. Anne Home Agency Code #1143 when making a contribution.
